Courses, workshops, and conferences offered through CPED.tamu.edu will be non-academic credit bearing. These are offered as opportunities to learn new skills, enhance job performance, and assist numerous professional licensing and accrediting bodies that require continuing education as a provision for preservation of good standing in their industry.
Instructors, professors, and staff at Texas A&M University have the opportunity to use CPED Canvas Catalog to host continuing education programs for continuing education units or professional development hours. Please follow these steps to get started:
Contact the CPED office to set up an initial meeting to discuss your program's goals and needs.
Complete a short CPED Canvas Catalog training.
Complete the appropriate CPED documentation forms/paperwork.
Continuing education offerings cannot be published in the Catalog for marketing and registration until:
The instructor’s home administrative unit has approved a continuing education offering through its departmental and/or college approval process.
All paperwork has been submitted to the CPED office.
A pilot has been completed (if the course is online)
